Olive garden chicken marsala recipe

Olive Garden is passionate about Italian cooking. This modified olive garden chicken marsala recipe provides an authentic taste straight from Sicily which you can cook at home.



4 half chicken breast fillets (boneless and skinless)
¼ cup flour
½ teaspoon of salt
Add pepper to taste
½  teaspoon of dried Oregano
4 tablespoons of olive oil
4 tablespoons of butter
1 cup of fresh sliced mushrooms
½ cup of dry Marsala wine. Use a good quality wine.


Use a meat clever to pound the chicken breasts haves until they are a uniform thickness. 

Season the flour with salt, pepper and Oregano

Lightly coat the chicken breasts in the flour

Heat the oil and the butter in a frying pan. Use medium heat.

Cook the chicken breasts for about two minutes until they are lightly brown in color.

Add the mushrooms between the chicken breasts and stir for about two minutes.

Add the Marsala wine to the pan around the chicken breast and cover and simmer on medium to low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve with a side dish of potatoes or pasta.
